Drink herbal tea / decoction (Kadha)

The decoction can be quite effective to increase immunity. Most of the things used to make decoction (Kadha) are also used in Ayurveda. All of these have antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties that can act as a natural remedy to increase immunity.

Boost immunity is being repeatedly mentioned to protect against corona virus. Kadha will Increase Immunity . A good immune system not only protects you from virus infection but is also known to keep away from flu, colds and colds.

How to make kadha Recipe

To make the decoction, first keep heating the water. When the water starts boiling, add black pepper, powdered cloves, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, dry grapes and jaggery as per taste. After some time, put basil leaves in it. Now add tea leaves in it. Boil it until the water dries to half. Turn off the gas when the water remains half. Sieve the water. Your decoction is ready. Drink it daily for a few days. Your cold and cough will disappear.

What is the specialty of this decoction?
The Ministry of AYUSH has suggested tips to increase immunity during the time of Corona virus. One of them is this brew.

  • Basil – तुलसी पत्ती:

    It is recommended to use Tulsi leaves in decoction. Basil leaves can be helpful in increasing immunity. Tulsi is rich in anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory properties. Which are helpful in increasing immunity? Along with this, Tulsi can be helpful in fighting bacteria and viral infections.

  • Cinnamon – दालचीनी :

    Cinnamon contains polyphones and plant antioxidants, which may be helpful in improving immunity.

  • Black Pepper – काली मिर्च:

    It is a flavor enhancing spice. Pepper also provides relief from problems like gas. Along with this, besides calcium, iron, carotene, phosphorus, there are many other nutrients that strengthen immunity.

  • Dry Ginger – सौंठ :

    The body’s ability to fight against immunity, disease, virus, bacteria means to increase strength, dry ginger is also rich in it.

  • Dry grapes – मुनक्का :

    Dry grapes have been used for centuries to strengthen the body to fight diseases. It is found in plenty in iron, vitamins and other minerals, which are helpful in boosting immunity.

  • Jaggery – गुड़ :

    There is a tradition of consuming jaggery after eating in Indian households. This is because it is good for digestion. Jaggery is also mentioned in the kadha suggested by the Ministry of AYUSH. It states that it can be included for taste. Jaggery can provide relief in the common cold.

  • Lemon – नींबू :

    The Ministry of AYUSH has also mentioned lemon for taste. Along with this, lemon is also helpful in strengthening the immune system. It is a good source of Vitamin C, which is considered an immunity booster
